Hey! I missed you guys!
We had an amazing time last week in the first ever Unleash the Wealthy Woman Within 5 Day challenge that ended last Friday, and why I wasn’t Live last week.
We laughed, we cried, we conquered, but most importantly, we thrived.
Now if you don’t know me, my name is Natalia and I’m a Life Strategist and Certified Wellness Coach with the International Association of Wellness Professionals.
I have a background in Wealth Management, an MBA and CPA and I am the Founder of the Wellness for Wealth Academy and Make It Happen Success System.
I am here every Tuesday talking about Life Strategies that will help all of you – the entrepreneurial woman – get into peak state so you can feel unstoppable and make the life you say you want a reality.
Getting Into Peak State
Wellness is a state of being; it is an active process to becoming aware of and making choices towards a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.
Wealth is also a state of being; it is being abundant in joy and strength in mind.
When we are in peak state and when we are wealthy in all areas of our life, we can achieve absolutely anything.
At the IAWP, I learned, adopted and now practice the Wellness 360 philosophy.
Now this month we’re focused on the Finance Life Element.
Financial Health & Wellness
This may not come to mind when you’re thinking about your overall health and well-being, but let me tell you that financial health has a huge impact on our overall physical and mental well being.
Financial health is all about our relationship with money, which is more than our budgets, financial investments, and spending habits because money has its own energy.
We all have our own feelings, experiences, and perspectives on money, and we all have positive and negative patterns when it comes to our relationship with money.
So how can you improve your relationship with money?
Be Aware of Your Money Feelings & Beliefs
The first thing is – think about how you feel about money, what are your beliefs around money?
I love money and money loves me… if that makes you feel icky, I’d be curious to know what money beliefs you have that cause you to think that way.
Fear of Success came up in our challenge last week.
We all know or hear about Fear of Failure, but not so much about Fear of Success.
That fear of ‘will I become a different person when I meet my next big income goal?’ or ‘they’re going to judge me for having what they don’t’.
These are beliefs about money that we’ve picked up somewhere along the way, even as far back as childhood.
Reconnect With Your Finances
The second thing is reconnect with your finances.
Don’t be that person that looks at their bank account once in a blue moon. That is not how you would treat a loved one.
Look at your bank accounts on a daily basis, track your incomings and outgoings, speak to a financial advisor, someone that comes recommended.
Make sure they have a good track record, and that they are transparent about their fees and that you feel comfortable with them.
Speak with your accountant or tax professional, and if you don’t have one, maybe now is a good time to build your wellness team.
Work on Your Financial Goals
Now is a great time to think about and set some financial goals.
What is your life vision? How much will it cost?
Do you want your kids to go to college or university? Do you still want that villa on the sea that you’ve been dreaming about?
How much money do you want your business to bring in every month? How much do you want to have in the bank at all times?
These are also questions a good financial advisor will ask you FYI.
Surround yourself with positive role models.
Be Careful How You Talk About Money
This is probably one of the most important things I want you to pay attention to when it comes to improving your relationship about money.
I know that we are in some trying times but I’m hearing a lot of ‘I don’t have any money’, ‘I can’t spend’, or ‘I can’t invest right now’.
This is a scarcity mindset and YES, you do have an abundant amount of money, YES, you can spend, and YES, you can invest, but you are CHOOSING to keep it, spend it or invest it on other things.
Do you see the difference?
I am choosing not to get a new laptop and instead I’m going to invest in learning a new skill. Choose to save, spend and invest in ways that are going to move you forward.
Never ever use money as an excuse for anything.
Own it.
You’ll feel so much stronger for this mindset shift.
Check in With Your Life Areas
The last thing I’ll say is check in with your other life areas, and I can help you do this.
Last week in our challenge, we did a Wheel of Life exercise, and we used it to get really clear on where we are and what was holding us back.
Some people noticed that they weren’t where they thought they would be in their career or business, or they noticed that their partner didn’t have the same financial goals as they did anymore.
You may find something different.
Connect with me and let’s chat about how we can work together to improve your state of being so you can improve this area of your life.
